The Shit-Bird Has Landed
Julie arrived at 6:30pm Friday night. We caught a shuttle back to Seoul and have just enough time to drop her bags off at my place and then get t o Nowon for my companies end of the year party, which I’d managed to get her included in. She got to meet most of my co-workers and have a little food. She’s sticking toher guns on this whole “I’m-a-vegatarian” bit, which is commendable. BUt she is also denying herself one of Korea’s greatest treasures; meat. Oh, the meat. Fucking ungodly, delicious meat. Nevertheless, we had a good time. The party didn’t start until 10, so it was around midnight when we wrapped it up. Of course, being Ty and Julie, we had to turn it up a notch. We walked back to my hood through a slight mist of rain and ducked in to Mr. Park’s for a couple beers. Then got some soju and a pitcher of Cass to bring home. That ran out and we got another pitcher. After this much drinking, it is always a good idea to make phone calls, and more than a few people got international drunk dials.
Between her flight, jet lag, and being hungover, the Shit-Bird didn’teven get up until 10:30 pm the next day. I had to go eat Kalbi alone. But we got a good start today and went around with Jordan and his girlfriend. Some pics of the Seoulsucker and the S-Bird below.

We ate lunch before going to Gyeongbokgung Palace.

In front of the entrance. Even though the sun was shining bright and the sky was clear as a bell, it was ass cold. About 30 I think.

I look good. Real good. The thing behind us is were the royal family used to party or something.
That is all for now. Expect more drunk dials.
